A forum for football mini's talk.......painting, converting etc. etc. or showing off great accessories that make playing the game easier, cooler or more fun.

Secondly (and this can be levelled at most FF miniatures companies throwers) why not put him in a pose that more suits his stats and the role he's going to play. He's AG3, and he's on a chaos team. He's not going to be throwing long bombs. If he does get rid of the ball, it's going to be hands off or quick/short passes. Pose him for that.
For example:
(Go RG3)
good call. and enough of the "i'm pointing to where i'm gonna throw". the newest gw human team has some nice QB'S with both hands on the ball. i like those.
wow! really? i quite like the old school lewdgrip. willys is quite nice, too. i think the difference is there. certainly different enough to please me
It should be said that i'm in no way in Grannys grip since i only played one game 14 years ago and now finally is in a position again to play. I do love these new more realistic features that some of the independant manufacturers provide.

no harm! your opinion, mate! i like the old lewdgrip because i like the wacky 2nd ed muties. kinda have a soft spot for them all.
my favorite is sureclaw!
In general, the willy chaos star players don't reflect the work on the team. The minotaur and beastmen are amazing but the chainsaw and borak are a bit under.
Copy or not copy, the tentacle guy is realy bad... You should work more on it. Please don't add a ball it's a non sense...
I like him, but he is way too close to the original. A new face and even just a mirrored pose is all you need.
I don't get the confusion over him holding a ball in his tentacle though... All of his skills point to him being a star who passes using his tentacle. He has pass, strong arm and sure hands, all relevant to throwers and all that can work well with the fluff of him having a "whip arm" Tentacle that holds onto the ball with its suckers.
If he was just a dude with a mass of pointless tentacles coming out of every orifice he'd hardly match his skills even if it would match the intent of tentacles itself more closely.

Speaking of Euc Bowl, I've got some stuff from this years event available for sale!
if it were me, I would have him with a normal right arm (well, very muscular) holding the ball and a tentacle left arm.. suitably different from the original model yet still in some ways an "homage"...
besides, how can you trip people up with your tentacle if you're holding a ball in it..??
Jerome Bettis was known as the Bus, but I don't think he ever charged people to ride him..

I love your work normally but this is just too big a rip. Why bother making the same model again only slightly bigger. People can get Lewdgrip easily on Evilbay anyway.
I think you should go a different route personally.
I'm afraid I have to agree. There was a great opportunity here to produce a clawpomb figure here and this has almost just revamped a figure which no one uses!!

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
