Second Box modded and ready to go - the painting of the "Jolly Green Giants" will go on into the early hours of the morning (fortunately not my work so I shall have some sleep). I did 19 of the 22 (the ones without melons [green stuff balls]) and am very pleased with the look given they all had guns and swords and grenades and bandoliers a while ago.

2-1-3 with flings? Awesome... that's better than you usually manage with proper teamsHawk wrote:Well run guys.... Really enjoyed this weekend (apart from being torn a new one!) lol

Did Sam get his snotlings up to 2-1-3 as well, like he PROMISED US HE WOULD? Or is he going to be keeping quiet for a few days??

In answer to your questions. I will not be keeping quiet for a few days. I did not promise anything but 2-1-3 was my firm intention. I failed however was a fun tournament had some really enjoyable games.Sandwich wrote: Did Sam get his snotlings up to 2-1-3 as well, like he PROMISED US HE WOULD? I did however manage to get three draws two of which were near wins(Amazon,Goblins,Nurgle). I caused five whole casualties. I scored five Touchdowns. I conceded less than 30 casualties over six games.
And as I said to Andy for all his doing better than me he won nothing whilst I got an attractive spoon, two rulebooks for Mantic games, and free entry next year.
Sadly as I failed to win a game though at the right tournament I will have to reprise the snotlings and try again - maybe one you are at I could take you with them I reckon

Every draw I've every had were near wins. Just one more TD was all I needed.....scs.sam wrote:however manage to get three draws two of which were near wins(Amazon,Goblins,Nurgle).

Well done on 3 draws though

Bring them to Speedbowl 2013......scs.sam wrote:Sadly as I failed to win a game though at the right tournament I will have to reprise the snotlings and try again - maybe one you are at I could take you with them I reckon

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

I played against Sam's snotlings with my Amazons. He was unlucky not to win - I had to GFI twice to equalise on the last turn.

If you make the rules pack work for me I will. I will need 135 to spend and full access to all inducements including wizards and cards. Give me this and I will reprise my 16 snotling team "The Jolly Green Giants".lunchmoney wrote:Bring them to Speedbowl 2013......
Thanks although I would say It was more of a case of I was lucky to score twice in one game and you were very unlucky to be in that situation in the first place.howlinggriffon wrote:I played against Sam's snotlings with my Amazons. Re: Bunker Bowl III - 13/14 October 2012 - Chelmsford, Essex
Just wanted to say thanks to Darren and the others at Chelmsford Bunker for running a very well organised and fun event.
It was my first BB tournament and I found everyone to be friendly and accommodating. I had some
really fun games and opponents with Andy's Flings and Luke's Orcs - what it was all about. Cheers.
Finished dead in the middle of the pack and rode my luck with those spawny Wood Elves; only got schooled by Purplegoo (Phil, the eventual champion) and got stomped silly Tom's brutal Norse, so no great disgrace. Reckon my squishy team (six dead) put Tom over the top for his Most Casualties trophy!
Will look to make the Boudica Bowl in March, look forward to playing with and learning more from some of you!

Going to add my thanks for a great tournament.
Thanks to my opponents for some great games, still looking to get a "proper" win the the Skinks, 16 Snotlings are awkward but not so hard when Sam found all those consecutive 1's.
will be back next year!

Thanks to everyone that attended - sorry I had to disappear for the Sunday but had a family emergency. Rodders has the laptop with the results so I am sure we'll see the results up on the NAF site soon.
Cheers all - hope you had a good time.
