How's everyone getting on? I'm slowly layering the colours on. Should be done to send on time.

I have 2 amazon catchers almost painted. Brown skin and white clothes, which I was going to paint yellow.

Also 2 unpainted Thralls.

Mainly looking for snotlings.

20 Oct could be a problem due to me being out of the country playing BB!

I've decided to do a bit of conversion, and finished the green stuff work on the weekend.
So far the model has already been primed and has the first couple of layers of paint on it.

Let see how it goes, but I intend to have it done earlier than the 20th because I know I'll be a quite busy by that time.
Besides I'm also having a go at this: http://bloodbowlmayhem.blogspot.pt/2012 ... build.html, so...

And if you have no idea what "deathrollers" are good for - besides being sent off the pitch in the end of the drive, of course -, you can also check out the rules for "Deathroller Race 2000" right here: http://bloodbowlmayhem.blogspot.pt/2012 ... -2000.html.
By the way they are a creation of Neil (neilpferd), who's also into this "figure exchange" thing were doing right now!
Worth checking out IMO.

Ax- I was going to join in the death roller build, but ploughing through my endless boxes of left overs, in really struggling to find many bits that would work!! I'll have to look harder and with more imagination!

Smurf- how many figures are you exchanging!!??

I’ve decided to do a conversion as I simply can’t resist hacking models apart and changing them into something else. Plus it was an idea I had for as part of another project but ran out of time.

I’ve finished building the model and filling in the gaps with greenstuff and have already completed the base coat and finished the skin last night. I just need to decide how much extra details I want to paint on the uniform as since it is a single model I want it to stand out but to retain a good balance of colours and to avoid it looking too busy.

I bet you could totally do it (the DR) wouldn't even need to touch any of your bits, just looking around the house!
Saw the cork example Neil presented?
This could be one of those "think outside the endless boxes of left overs" kinda thing!
I know that's what I did! :D

+1
The way I see it, these projects are the perfect excuse to build stuff I normally wouldn't, and to 'experiment' with different color schemes.
