I hope you mean you *had* a team on fumbbl.

One thing you have to get used to on there is the large group of people that are just out to destroy your team. Turn 16 fouls, etc. aren't uncommon from the games I've observed.

I am soooooo glad I'm not the only one! For me it's that bloody 'end turn' button at the top. Believe it or not at least half a dozen times I've clicked on it by accident when I've been too lazy to scroll the screen up properly. The woest incident was when attempting to score with a pestigor... One space away from the end zone, cage lying all over the pitch after being decimated by Dwarfs, who by the way are all within blitzing range. Just about to celebrate... end turn.

Got murdered. Lost the game and the pestigor (well he was MA busted so I had to cut him. He'd just got sure hands too!). :(

Still... that's Blood Bowl! :orc:

Too true...I really wish there was a "Team Reset" button!

Interestingly, my opponent had NO slayer skills whatsoever (unless you count block, or jump up without piling on). He threw one token foul towards the end of the game which didn't break armor. There were no surfs, either.

All of the damage was a result of pure armor breaks on knock downs. He was a very sporting opponent, albeit merciless.

Look forward to hearing the next ep.
Second this. I cant get a game in ranked either. Help on how to do it would be nice.

Help

I'd personally use the Blackbox over Ranked. It generally sees more traffic, and so is usually faster to get a game.

If anyone wants help, feel free to PM me (Hitonagashi) on fumbbl and I'll happily give you a hand. Alternately, just point out where the user guide isn't clear enough, and I'm sure someone will fix it :D

Dont think the link works, but to get a game in ranked do the following:

1. Make a team and activate it so when you look in the overview of your profile there is a green R next to the team.
2. Start the chat in one window and activate gamefinder in another.
3. In gamefinder you can activate your team by pressing "add teams"
4. Pick an opposing team in gamefinder and find the coach in the chat and ask for a game.
5. If he agrees, then decide on a game name and go to your overview and press "play" next to the team of choice.
6. The java client should start and you enter the game details and your password.

Or, go on the IRC chat and type 'bblfg', and the Bowl Bot will list your teams' races and their TV, and someone may drop you a query or PM to set up a match.

Another good episode.
I tried FUMBBL once last December and didn't care for it but the enthusiasm for it the last two episodes make me want to give it another go.
I smell a 3DB Summer League!

Just in time for the new league switch to CRP and the coming of the wizards! :D

Things are still rough around the edges as everything gets updated to CRP, but it is getting better all the time and there is a huge surge of momentum right now. The website is being reworked to make it easier to navigate, especially for new users, and that includes an updated way to find games in Ranked easier eventually.

Nice audio! wow hearing fumbbl's main man was a real treat.

Im loving the show and off course I actually added a comment on itunes as very few people did that so far. I might have to get some questions for the apoth :) Elves are the only choice worth playing again and again so its bound to be about them.

Oh the Cyanide game is ok once you get used to it. I used to play fumbbl a bit but I think the fancy graphics won us over. Its been a long time since my league used lrb4 so we had to go Cyanide online as the old rules were just too much. But I think after maybe 5 games each we were used to the interface and game controls and never really though about it again.
