Question on value of 1st edition elf

Does anyone know what a good price is for 1st edition elves? I won a couple of pose 1 in an auction this weekend and was wondering if they are worth anything.

if they are clearly lead about $15 ea
if there is any question that they are not lead, worthless

EDIT The tabs feel like lead, I was able to scar them quite well with a pair of scissors. I have to strip them to really get a good feel. I got 4 in the deal, looking to trade a couple for some second edition elfs.
