Galak, thanks for all the work you have put in. I know this is late, but still thanks so much.

Been away from this great game for 10 yrs now, and have come back just this last two weeks with renewed excitement and determination to be a great BB coach. I dont know much about the work you've done Galak, or the contribution you have made. But reading what everyone else has said in their posts, you seem to have put your heart and soul into making this game great. Certainly the man hours you have put in alone deserves much appreciation.
So from a new player who is excited to be embarking on his own journey into the world of Blood Bowl, thankyou for helping create/develop a product that creates this level of excitement within me.

Oh and if you are anything to do with the Impact miniatures, then congrats on making some truly cool looking models.

The Southfarthing Pie Baker's. Not only are they great cooks, but also not a bad blood bowl team. Halfling Team's are the way forward.

This thread needed a bump. This is long LONG OVERDUE. :)

John (atropabelladonna) and Tyler (lordchaos) from our league already expressed thanks in this thread Tom for all your hard work on the LRB 5 and beyond, but on behalf of everyone at Thunderbowl we thank you for making the game what it is today. Our league would never have been as successful without solid rules for progression that were solved in LRB 5 & 6. I know that there are the naysayers that still cling to that LRB 4 where any retard can foul their way to victory, but HANDS DOWN LRB 6 is the BEST BLOOD BOWL RULESET EVER!! You rock Tom!!! and all of our members will be forever grateful.

It is sad that after all your hard work legal treated you the way they did. If I were on the BBRC I would have walked off with you. I hope that one day the 'company' will realise that this ruleset and this game is the most balanced table top game they possess and raise the game to Core status, push it the way it ought to be pushed, and maybe that day they will officially recognize your efforts.

But regardless, the fans will always remember who hammered the game of Blood Bowl into shape, brought back the fun, brought in the balance, and carved out the best progressive, perpetual, multi-teamed, league-based fantasy football table top boardgame known to man.

Best regards,
Craig.

Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when they find out, you're a mile away...... and you have their shoes.

Thanks for bumping this thread, or I wouldn't have seen it. This saddens me greatly. Tom, you have done a great job. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.

I'm late to this party, as well, Tom. It was always a pleasure chatting with you. Even that brief, and nightmarish, stint as as specialist games forum mods. . .yuk.

My runner made it in. . well not quite my runner. But the Dark Elf runner made it in. And for that, I am incredibly happy. Thanks.

Step away for a few months (years?) and things go all to pot...

Heard about the big legal idiocy GW's gotten itself into, found out TBB changed domains, come here and find they took it out on Tom...no wonder I don't support that company anymore. (Even after they FINALLY made a new Codex for my Blood Angels.)

Good to see things are well for you Tom, despite people who never deserved having you around.

Looking forward to getting to read/use the LRB 6.0...with my terribly old Skaven since I'm not getting any new figs from GW.

Apologies for committing such blatant threadomancy, but I never bothered to say "Thanks Gallak". If I take up this great game it will be down YOUR hard work!! Damn GW - ever since they went public the lawyers basically run the shop. If only copyright law meant that you actually had to actively support a game in one form or another to retain your copyright - G.W. would be revealed for the neglectful sods they are since they'd probably lose control of all the old Advanced D&D/Advanced Heroquest era stuff.... :(
