Wow.

Tom, thank you so much for all your work and effort. Without you, this game would have been dead long ago.

Jervis may have created BB, GW may have published BB but Tom MADE BB. Thanks for all that you have done to keep this great game alive.

Tom,
After about an hour of typing and deleting I settled down and came up with:

Thanks Galak!

It is sad that GW does that to you but everyone involved in BB knows that they have to thank Jervis for creating the game and you for making it even more fun and silly.

Also thanks for that PBEM game in which you shown me how to play stunties.

I am happy that now all appearance of conflict of interest are now removed and look forward to the impact frogs.

Completely agreed! Hail to thee, Tom.

I've only started playing BB these last few months but have to say it is indeed one of the better games out there for getting mates together for a laugh or three.

I will say what you are too gentlemanly to: This is bullshi7(whither ethically, politically and/or commercially)!
Reading and absorbing the last few months' worth of politics on Grandma Wendy's part is extremely unsettling and made me stop my line of thinking regarding supporting such a company's bottom line.
This cements it.

Tom/Galak, please be sure to take the time to reflect on this thread's kudos and heartfelt thanks because each person to post such represent the 100's and 1000's of players into the game where we otherwise would have dropped it long ago due to poor mismanaged rules changes!

As an aside, has anyone thought of purchasing/bidding on buying the whole licence/game from GW as a 'group of investors' and doing with it what should be done: Support it!
Rolemaster from I.C.E was in a similar situation(becoming forgotten) a decade ago and went through this type of thing or was close to it.

Tom:
Success to your future endeavours, sir, and has been quipped here so far: Thank you!!!!!

What can I say Tom......there's a Spanish saying that says "No good deed goes unpunished".

I totally agree with you. You've taken LRB to the ultimate level (for now.....never trust GW's words...believe me, I've been inside), and you can say with no doubt that your job is done.

As usual, we must remember EVERYONE that saying thanks costs nothing, because there's a lot of people who have forgotten it.

As I've said in a lot of places, GW has the legal rights to close its fist on everything it legally owns....but manners are everything sometimes.

Well done, Tom, thanks for everything. Let's hope your words become true, and GW finally posts the LRB6.

Thanks Tom.

And i think you have the right perspective on it. You did the best on your job and you finished it. While it sucks that GW kicks you out unthankfully just afterwards this does not change the fact that you (and the rest of the BBRC) did a brillant job that is thankfully accepted by the community (our league changed to LRB6 within the season, because we liked it so much).

Can you explain what were the original plans for 5.0? :?:

I still prefear the 4.0  , compared to the 5.0 and the 6.0. So I hope the BBRC'll go ahead and'll work to go back and "regenerate" some rules and fix the bugs that are still in the game.
I think there is a lot of work to do to to balance the game, giving back some of the blood loosed. :(

Thanks for your work, :)
