I just collected my LRB5+ .pdf and all the reference sheets, LRB6 add-on and other documents i have collected for the game, and made a backup copy on a DVD disc, and put it securily away, so i don't loose my rulebook for the future, when GW goes back to pure LRB5, becouse of some shitty computer game, or corporate reason i don't know.

I advice all others to backup there LRB5+ files and possible there LRB6 add-ons in the same way. Someday very soon it will be impossible to find anything related to LRB5+ or 6 on the web. becouse GW for some reason i don't know has decided to kill of anything newer then LRB5

The key is to learn the rules back to front.. arguing the rules means a dice off.. then you don't have to worry about waiting for a rule back to come out! Most already know the rules anyway... so why wait.. just back away from the PC.. set the board up and game on :)

I can't wait to see what will happen in the upcoming "LRB6 is finally official" or "Grandma killed the LRB6 stars" eras.

Will the community embark in a homemade LRB7 without Grandma??
Will we despair and accept the dismissal of the LRB6?? (If it happens)

Next episode in a forum near you!!

Of course is not.
Snow is trademarked. Grandma sells it at 8.25 USD, 7.5 EUR and 4.9 GBP (Kind of expensive for non-British, by the way)

Blood Bowl is going to be a bad boy game soon.

I imagine sitting in a dark basement, with my mates, playing the DARK game of blood bowl, with forbidden rules version, forbidden alternative miniatures and possible even a homemade forbidden playing field. Its going to be the next Scientology, just that this is the illegal version.

We will need to have a person guarding the door, and a lookout on the street corner, watching out for Grandma's Laywers throwing C&D around.

You will even be able to pickup girls in the bar:
You: Hey you girl! how are you doing?
Girl: What? why is a nerd like you, talking to my tits?
You: Been playing Blood Bowl the whole evening, and I don't mean the Computer version, so i was kinda focused on ball-shaped things..
Girl: .....You play Blood Bowl with dices?....COOL! you are a real badboy then...maybe we should go now, then you can tell me all about it after s*x....

I'm quite convinced LRB 6 will get there. Galak might be willing to go along with GW, but I think he's already made it pretty clear that it's all about getting that ruleset out there for the community to use. So I'm very much convinced that if that were not to happen we'd something very different from composed 'no comments'...
What he said.

Boo! I wanted to watch a lady-lawyer fight! I've got the popcorn ready and everything!

And worse case scenario is that Grandma stops supporting BB, which let's be honest, we'd hardly notice. The NAF can get Block dice from other suppliers (that will be very similar to the GW ones in design - see Chessex), and from my point of view, the only decent thing GW does is host the biggest BB tourney once a year, and if they dropped that, I'm sure the community can organise a similar sized event somewhere else (possibly a better location). I come from a small town, and yet our club has had 8 new people join over the last couple of years (some admittedly for longer than others!), and all that is without any help advertising the club from GW, so I disagree that getting new blood would be an problem.

I'd like to think that LRB6 has made GW have a rethink, and they're going to give BB (and other SGs) some love.
I'd like to think that, but Grandma has burnt me once to often, so you'll all have to forgive me when I expect the worst.

Expect the worst, and be plesently surprised when something good happens, or expect the best (or something good) and be bitterly disappointed when shit happens - I know which one I prefer.

Yeah but a simple Profile click can answer this one. With a join date of September 2008 ... unless Agamemnon2 was a pre-cog (what a kick-ass power that would be for a laywer) ... there is no way this account could be the new lady lawyer at GW.

That said ... I really don't agree with the comments made by this account ... but I can at least answer the question in hand.

IMHO BB rules should go the way of Linux: Free and Open Source, created for and by the community.

What Piracy?

LRBs and other specialist games manuals have been free to download and distribute since long time ago.

Besides. What you call piracy, might not be under the law of different countries.

In Spain, for instance, you can legally download and distribute music and other media (books) as long as you don't make profit from it.

So go to Benidorm and morally and legally you will be allowed to willfully engage in what only you call "Piracy".
