Guys please dont make GW more mad then they are, please just wait for the final version to get published.

Making copys of LRB6 (homemade), will maybe make them stop the project all together.

I editted my other post and although I agree with you, I feel GW has brought it on themselves by showing little support for Blood Bowl and whats the betting that when they do get round to putting it up on the website that it would not show up on the 'new releases' or bulletin board thing (that big block in the middle which is going on about the wishlist prize draw at the moment)........ In fact will we ever know if they have added it or not without clicking on the Blood Bowl resources?

I don't really care what they do to the final version either, I am using the BBRC version and that is all. They can go sit on it for a year for all I care, I got what I wanted. Thanks BBRC for all the hard work, I will think of you when my Skinks are using diving catch and only getting BH on Stunty injuries. :)

So it still isn't on the games workshop UK site...

I e-mailed GW almost a week ago asking about any possible timelines for LRB 6 release and haven't received a response. Not even a, "I don't know".

In that case, I feel pretty confident 'they' will have done a good job

Did that like 2 weeks ago. Please remember .... GW does NOTHING for the LRB. I type it up, I do the formatting, I do the photoshop work ... (etc, etc, etc). So when you say "they" ... you mean me.

Tom, really, I didn't mean to spoil you from your well deserved merits. The lack of smilies hide my ironic intent, and I fully understand your feelings about this all.

Galak --> IS THE LRB :D

Anyway Tom, im just so happy about you sticking to the LRB "project" for so long, when thinking on all the trouble and bullsh*t GW is making about things.

I don't know how the work inside the GW HQ, but really i would love to study the whole company HQ for 14 days, mainly the development department, becouse if they can't find time or reason to change a WWW adress (the new NAF site), then they either dont care or then they are sitting 20 people arguing over all small dots they can find.

But them not giving Tom more credit is really pathetic, anyway im hooked on GW games so I will still keep playing there games. (I have grown from WFB 8) )

Cheers Galak :)

It does seem silly what GW has done and is doing, I wonder how much is being driven by an over zealous legal team rather than the desires of the hobby team. Pretty much all of it.

GW is a global company, the (or if not then top three) biggest dog in a niche market and they certainly like to throw there weight around. I wonder if the whole LotR bubble bursting made them think twice about how they do business...

I'd love for GW to return to there roots, a small hobby company with a few stores around the UK, a passion for players and the games rather than the money... But it's a business, a global business and the shareholders and big, big bosses demand profit and money, it's what they do, it's a business which is here to make money.

Just compare them to say Electronic Arts, I don't think EA are in a rush to issue out C&D letters to Madden fan sites and I'm pretty sure Sony don't go rushing off at every AC/DC site (though I could be wrong and especially if it contains legally owned material by Sony).

No idea where I'm really going with this, but I think everyone needs to remember...

WE are Blood Bowl. WE made this community. WE play this game and if GW want to screw the community then we'll remember that in future. But this is our time now, lets throw away the bitterness and lets carry on with our community. Galak and the BBRC have done a fantastic job over the years and now they can rest and enjoy doing what they want to do.

Play Blood Bowl!

Well said!

I couldn't add anything to what Ithilkir has posted to make it better.
We kept this game alive before there even were fan sites and we will keep it alive now, despite whatever nonsense GW's lawyers are throwing around.
