Thanks to Galak for doing all this work and caring so much about the game.

hmmm, GW will ruin LRB6 for all there fans, IF some 3rd part decide to market some miniatures as "fit for BB Starplayer"???

WHAT????

Punishing ALL players and fans for something they can't control anyhow, this is very childish.

Do Greed Workshop hope that an angry mob of BB players will break the sculpters fingers and burn his factory down? IF he/they decide to go into the BB starplayer market? (pitch invasion for short 8) )

As I see it they bet on the community to punish and block any other company to get into the fantasy football market. This is really an desperate plan, why are they so desperate?

dude, i totally missed that... what was i thinking? damned knee jerk reactions. okay, so they're still just the worst team. And the I understand why deeproot was a little underpriced before, I kind of considered it a 'discount price' because only halflings could get him. Still, I feel this weakens them slightly in tournament. In league play they're still probably overall better thanks to additional star options and the stunty BHon9 thingy, but cutting into inducements sucks for this team's survivability and playability. I was expecting to have an extra 50 from the chef, instead i lose 50 from deeproot.
Ah well. it's still likely my halflings with have a healthy coat of dust on them if i ever bring them back to league play.

chefs were seriously underpriced at 50k as they regularly took on average 3 rerolls from an opponent in a game ranging from 50k per reroll to 70k per reroll. o 50k expenditure gets you 150-210k back whilst taking it from the opposition. which when used against my khemri was horrible (took all 3 of my rerolls on an AG2 team, spent an entire game trying to pick up the ball)

Really?? Underpriced chef at 50k??

You were playing against a little group of St. 2, Mov. 5, Av. 6 players, with 4 St. 5 mumm.... tomb guardians :puke: and you are still crying?

The prob is that you were playing khemri. They have problems grabbing the ball. That's what your thro-ras do (and they need not a RR to try it).

Now... chef back on 100k... who cares? Every tournament here allows them at 50k. Problem comes in league play, when this becomes official Galak's famous playbook won't be useful anymore. And the team won't be useful anymore (league play)

yes underpriced. suddenly you have for the cost of 50k 100-140k at least advantage over any team. now normally a team that far down would get inducements even against your St2 flings.

I thinks that's likely to change. I know I won't allow that. I'll even go so far to allow inducements for all teams or for none at all. Having halflings with the chef and trees that can use the rerolls is too much.

I've played my flings not depending on inducements (spent the whole 1000k at team creation) and they are doing just fine (3 wins, 1 tie, 6 losses since LRB5+). The BH on 9 even means I've got more money than I can spend.

very underpriced as that covers the cost of the inducement and removes it from the tv of the opposition (all beit temporarily)

The BBRC don't care about tournaments.

I had a lengthy disscussion with Galak about no loner trees and halfling chefs and that was pretty much the answer I got.

It seems they are trying to balance league play and try to make the halfings more appealing to play with.

The only two I could get to feasibly are Babs and Doubleskulls/Ian. They're noth in NS, which is a very long drive from where I live. Also, I've seen galak post the most on TBB and TFF out of the four that do post (has JJ ever posted on here?). Also I can't remember who the other member is, but I don't think he lives in Melbourne.
