All dwarfs are by nature dutiful, serious, literate, obedient and thoughtful people whose only minor failing is a tendency, after one drink, to rush at enemies screaming "Arrrrrrgh!" and axing their legs off at the knee. (TP)

And back from another weekend of college-fun.
5 great games (thx Daniel, Menno, Robert, Jan and Vincent),
excellent food (thx Korenbeurs and the Japanese eatfactory)
and a very pleasant place to sleep and play games (thx Draco, Anke, JJ, Seb and Michael for the company en letting me win the last Pedaalridders).
And extra very special thanks to Seb for the taartje and the spoon-position.

Likewise... Despite being soundly trashed (then again, my Trolls did help there by taking down a few of my Goblins by themselves), it was a good last game. Then again, taking a Jade College team with maaaaany Goblins and not ending last was quite a surprise, not to mention the 4-0 against Daniel.

... Ah well, there's always the Dutch Open as an attempt to beat Draco there.

But everybody beats me at the Dutch Open. you should give yourself a real challenge instead. Like winning the tournament for example....Vinz D. wrote:... Ah well, there's always the Dutch Open as an attempt to beat Draco there.![]()

Oh yeah, just had to go and mention that, did ya? Well, wasn't that the game were your Trolls and Goblins were up against a side made up entirely of toads and yet you failed to score? Huh? Wasn't it?Vinz D. wrote:Then again, taking a Jade College team with maaaaany Goblins and not ending last was quite a surprise, not to mention the 4-0 against Daniel.
Anyway, had a very swell time, thanks to the ref team and of course, to Menno for being the greatest host ever.
Agree with Jelmer, we need more toads.
