this is a mini GW didn't want to use for its vampire team.

Why IMPACT or so bid on that to make a production out of it?
Man, I would get a collection together just so Impact could have it to make more for the rest of us.

Hoping the man himself could roll in on this one and advise whether it is possible under the whole "not Chaos Cup Limited Edition mini but I am able to make it " type of loophole?
My tought was right. Sell it to impact, goblinforge, nerostinto bloodbowl retailer more than some rich collector trader.

Hiya

It's SteveB here. After posting last night I updated my email as I noticed it was out of date. My account has been shut down until an admin re-activates it so I've no idea if anyone has PMd me about this yet. Hopefully my account will be back soon...

Okay, regarding this figure.

The photo is of the actual resin casting I'm selling, not a green. There are no mould lines as it's a high quality master cast. I'm not selling copies, I'm selling this casting that is, to my knowledge, the only one in existence. I do not have the green of this figure as it was converted into the final Vampire Lord and GW have that.

Size wise it's the same size as the regular vampire lord. Possibly slightly larger as it hasn't gone through the metal casting process that usually shrinks figures a little. This would make him slightly more chunky and, theoretically, a mm or so taller. I can tell you that he is 32mm from the base of his feet to the top of his bald head.

No production rights can be sold with this figure. Apart from the boots and head, this figure is the GW BB vamp lord and thus reproduction would infringe on their copyright. So, it wont go to any fantasy football companies to sell.

And, I can assure you I'd not sell him for £20. To clarify, this is the figure that the available vamp lord was converted from so is roughly the same size (within casting tolerances) and I'm not selling duplicates, I'm selling the only one I know to exist. If I sell it I will not even have one myself.

With luck an admin will find my email soon and reactivate my account so I can get back on that one...

Steve,

Your account SteveB should be active again.

I sent you a PM yesterday with my bid ... please let me know if you did not receive it due to your account going inactive as I did bid a bit more than 20 GBP for it.

I will say this publically. My bid is to add this figure to my personal collection. This is NOT a bid from Impact! or BBFigs.com to buy the figure for commercial casting.

Thanks Galak, it's good to be back in my normal threads ;)

I did get your PM and a good few others. I'll be looking at the offers so far a bit later.

Anyone who's still interested can now PM me on this account again. The two people who PMd me on the Grasientus account, I have your messages.

but if it gets into a personal collection such as Galaks, like the greens for the chaos all stars, we could see it printed eventually. Snake Sanders is just a 2nd ed human lineman with a snake head conversion. why wouldnt this be different?

heres to hoping :)

it truly is a beautiful model, and if i had the extra money, i would pick it up.

I had direct permission from the sculptor Phil Lewis to cast that figure up. Just noting the difference here.

Steve ... sent you a second PM after thinking some more on this figure.

Let me know if you don't get it. Just don't want to risk electron betrayal on a figure like this.

I'm sure if the winning party wishes to make themself known they will (and I suspect they will). But, as the seller, I cannot say who it was.
