16 man second edition teams
How much do you think a full 16 man second edition team will sell for.
Considering selling the spare human team I have. Had a look on ebay and I saw one of the catchers went for £10 buy itself. Though the linemen are in plentiful availability it seems.
I would image the skaven sell for the most though I'm not parting with them ;]
Would a starting price of £40 be reasonable?

i brought 25 2nd edition humans in february for £40, but they where only primed. you will probably get more if they are well painted and based, or if somebody is specifically looking at the time and enters a bidding war. you might get more selling individually.
i just won a 16 man 2nd edition skaven team for £44, although they where the 3rd team i had bid for. and i lost the 2 other teams for more than £60.

It depends on how many different models are in the team. If all individual figures are there and in mint condition, I think your price is correct.
With individual figures you really have to be lucky to hit high on ebay. If you have two who want that figure to complete collection you can be lucky.
Otherwise ...

Until recently I was looking for a 2nd edition human team, but have called a halt to my ebaying (barring one or two individual figures). I'd say 40 quid as a starting price might be pushing it. I've never seen them sell that well, unless fantastically painted. The 10 quid catcher sounds like an exception due to two people really wanting it.
Sorry for being a bit negative.

You cannot expect a team price to go for the same as some specific minis prices.
You also cannot expect the same price as those sold previously as the highest bidders usually have what they were looking for.
What you should expect is the same price as a 3rd ed team will go for. That is the reality of it.
Now you can do single mini sales yet then you have those ebay fees that will cut the profits to not really make it worth it.
If you have a price in mind that you want, I myself may be interested, just send me a PM with that figure. Otherwise, good luck with the ebay.
Cheers....

OK to be clear on what I have. Using travs site:
http://www.blood-bowl-miniatures.de/
16 player team:
1x blocker 1
2x blocker 2
1x blitzer 1
3x blitzer 2
1x thrower 1
1x thrower 2
2x catcher 1
2x catcher 2
1x lineman 1
1x lineman 2
1x kicker 2
I also have
1x Griegor Miessen
2x thrower 2
1x catcher2
2x blocker 2
2x lineman 2
I've had some interest in the team via PM, though no offers. From the reactions on here though I think ebay may be the best bet for them, though I'm open to offers before I put them up.

Bit obvious but it depends on the market at the time, I sell on e-bay regularly and it often amazes me what makes money (6000julie on e-bay)(Dont ask!!)
Putting a reserve of 40 on a team is not a bad idea, and strangley selling single models or groups will not (IMHO) get you a better price than selling the whole team in one go (as long as you dont ask silly P&P money)
If you can wait a while give it 3 months after BB (the online game) is released, loads of "Noobs" will want to get the models to reproduce thier online success

In my ebay buying and selling experience it is not generally a good idea to list your product too high to begin with as it will deter potential punters. I picked up a good 2nd Ed skaven team recently for $100AU, but have watched inferior 2nd ed Skaven auctions go for much higher because they were initially pitched at a lower price, and bidders ended up competing. Don't underestimate the power of the "must win" mentality. I know it sounds exploitative, but you have to use the frailties of human psychology to your advantage here!
Also, take good photos, you've got a good product so show it off and make it look better than the recasted rubbish out there.
Lastly, place the auction with a finish time that is friendly to European and American bidders, since they're the of the majority market. 8-10pm your time is good.
