Obviously Traits are idiosyncracies we cannot avoid, It bugs me that a skill is viewed as something else. I would like to have a third Category of luck (although that is a bad name choice, suggestions welcome..)
Luck would include all those things that allow re-rolls Pass, Dodge etc.
Skills would be those such as Block, Shadowing, guard, tackle etc which affect how a dice roll comes out but will not allow that dice roll to be re-done.
Am I asking for too much? Discussion welcome after all, do you think it would be too cumbersome. I think it would lead to some interesting team choices and strategic skill decisions. It would smooth out OSPA as well because you could only use one luck (re-roll) per player action.
