So weeks later they are finally working on the dice. I'm told the first 100 have been cut and painted, ready for cleanup.

There is a bit of good news coming out of this wait though. The reason for the delays was that they needed to order in more blank 16mm Black dice. They are still on back order, not due until January. So they have offered to have the dice made on 19mm Black dice instead, with suitably upscaled images for no additional charge. Normally you would pay an extra 20% for that size difference, so it's a little bit of a bonus after all these problems.

Dice should be in the post to me early next week, and with a bit of luck I'll be sending them back out before Christmas.

Happy to say the dice have arrived safely and are now in the post to everyone who has sent payment.

I asked when they could be realistically expected to arrive and have been told very early 2009, in some cases possibly even before Christmas (if you've been very good!)

So I hope they all arrive safely and everyone likes them!

And for a little plug I still have six sets left if anyone wants them, just shoot me a PM

..Santa seems to have little to do with it, as I have undoubtably had one of the most morally dubious years I think I can possibly remember. However, praise be to the noble gods of Royal Mail and Nuffle upon Mount Olympus, as my die arrived today.

They look lovely, by the by. Well worth the wait.

Fantastic to hear that people's dice have been arriving

Just a quick update to say I have exactly 5 sets left, so if people want one they should get in quick!

Cost is $20 AUD per set of dice, and $10 AUD for international postage (coming from Australia). So one set of dice would be $30, two sets for $50 and so on.

Just PM me if you're interested, first in best dressed.
