Chaos Pact Team

Post by [bane] »

So glad to have found this site, lots of inspiration here for a blood bowl enthusiast! I've recently finished an Orc team (pics to be posted later), but at the moment I'm working on a commission piece - a Chaos Pact team.

The miniatures (a veritable collection of quality old sculpts and new plastics) were given to me converted with a suggested colour scheme, all I had to do was paint them! And here they are so far (some tidying up still to do and a few more minis still to paint):

So just 4 more deamonettes to go and a multi-armed star player. Will keep you updated, hope you like them!

ps. the base rims aren't finished, just washed with brown to make them look slightly tidier!

Really awesome painting there and I love the strange feel of the chosen colors. But the most important question is: How did you do those leaves? I really want to know and could I steal the idea? I want to do a chaos team in autum colors and with some leaves on the base it would totaly rock!

They look like birch seeds. You can find them at a train shop or look for Hudson & Allen Leaf/Forest Litter.

Love the colors and conversions.

They are definitely birch seeds...you can also find them on birch trees  Lucky for me there are plenty growing right next to my house.

I'm going to be finishing my autumn woodies team soon complete with birch seeds.

Great team BTW - I'm loving the chaos pact teams on here lately but when will we see some other gods teams? Or is Slaanesh a big BB fan?

Cheers for the comments guys. As someone said, the leaves are indeed birch seeds, you can buy them but birch trees shed a lot of them for free!

With regards to the colour scheme - the photos do make the pink and especially blue seem "richer", whereas in real life they are more pastel like. But I guess the Slaanesh colours are an acquired taste....

From my experiences of playing football in leaf strewn parks, it's what could be under the leaves that make me shiver!
