BABBL Raffle - Win a Painted Dwarf Team!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The Good folks at the Brisbane Area Blood Bowl League would like to invite you to take part in an exciting Raffle! You see, to offset the costs of league management I’ve been forced to charge an entrance fee to my league members for the first time in three seasons. Not satisfied with the sour taste that this left in my mouth, I decided to give more!

With the help of www.impactminiatures.com I’ve managed to get my hands on a spare Thunder hammer Dwarf team – Valued at AUD$65.00 – and started a raffle to raise capital. The Membership fee would buy league members 4 tickets for $5 AND You the Bloodbowl community can also buy in!

You may buy one ticket for $3.00 or
you may buy three tickets for $5.00

(FYI: this is the same price that my league members pay for additional tickets)

But Wait It gets Better… One of our best painters has volunteered to paint the team in our League Colours! So you can score your self a fantastic Dwarf team, fully painted for the Bargain Basement Price of AUD$ 3.00!!! Now I know what your thinking…
“Fair enough, but if I win... what condition will I get the goods in?”
Just to allay your fears and to ensure that the team arrives in Mint Condition, We’ll throw in an Impact Carrying case!
That Brings the Prize pool to AUD$100.00!

We’ll run the Draw in Aug 26th at our Midseason RotGut Dungeon Tournament. There, I’ll use a Random Number Generator to determine the winner. (I’ll take some photos so the non league members can see that it’s all above board!)

Critical Info!
1) Raffle tickets numbers will be determined in order of entry and stored on a few spreadsheets – for safety’s sake.
2) Winners outside of Brisbane will be responsible to pay for their own shipping
3) Entrants will be e-mailed confirmation of ticket number(s) upon recept of funds
4) Payment in Australian Dollers only please – Cash in Hand or by PayPal
5) The Raffle is Non Profit – all proceeds go toward BABBL admin costs with the intention of making future seasons free of fees.

I'm happy to announce that Scalpifig has won the Raffle!

I've sent e-mails out to the entrants to showcase the details, and as mentioned this was quite a successful experiment, We managed to raise $195 and that’s only $5 short of our goal!

This means that, Thanks to Impact Miniatures and the good folks at TBB, BABBL has covered its Season 3 costs and raised enough to make Season 4 Free to all!

Thanks to all who showed their support and interest, I may be running another Raffle next year, so Keep an ear to the ground!

I'm just hunting for an expression of interest???

I'm thinking about running another Raffle for a Fully Painted Impact Team.

Were those involved in the Raffle happy with the way it ran, and would they be happy to have another go?

Do you have any suggestions for me to take on board?
