I have dealt with him before and I would say yes they are recasts. I bought a Zara from him and whilst I could tell it was a recast it wasn't too bad and I didn't pay much for it $15 AU.
The weight of the mini was off as was the smoothness of the detailing, fortunately I was able to fix a few details relatively easily and it is one of the better looking Zara's that I have seen first hand. He should be able to offer you a partial refund.
Cyberspawn on ebay? Anyone has experience?

I just had reaction.
I quote
"I highly doubt that they are recast ..."
He says that he gives me total refund when I send figures back.
Well first of all, I can send the figures back and maybe don't see my money back.
Second, I will have to pay postage to US to send back and refund will probably be of auction price and not P&P. So where leaves me this.
This is last time I buy from him and everybody now knows (with previous reaction) that he is indeed a recaster.

I think he's a recaster, too. I bid on a Wilhelm Chaney mini he was selling, and lost the auction. Within an hour of the auction ending, he sent me a "second chance offer", which is a tool that eBay uses so you can still sell something if your winning bidder flakes out. I took the second chance offer, since I thought my bid was reasonable.
The mini came in a small ziplock bag, and is definitely cast in white metal. The tab on the bottom says "GW 1989". It's a good quality casting, and I know that GW was still selling this mini online until at least 2003, so it's possible that this isn't a recast, but the circumstances of my buying it were definitely suspect. I'm pretty sure I've seen him selling the same mini since then, too.
