Ok, apparently they have ALWAYS opened at noon..I don't remember that from last time...therefore I suggest folks get something to eat before hand so we can get straight into game 1.
Saturday
Game 1 - 12:00 (ish)-2pm
Game 2 - 2:30pm-4:30pm
Game 3 - 5:00pm-7pm.
Sunday
Game 4 -12:00-2pm
Game 5 2:30pm-4:30pm
Ceremony 5pm
Obviously if we finish games faster, then we will finish earlier. On the other hand, if noone is in a rush to get off on either day, we can take things at a more leisurely pace.

No that is correct mate but last year you asked if we could walk in at 11 and go down to the garden and then buy drinks when the bar opens. And we did. If you recall we played pretty much the first half of the first game on Saturday while the staff put up the umbrellas in the garden, put out ashtrays and got the place ready. Then at HT they told us it was open and we (Woody and I) went up and got beers.....Venomous Breath wrote:Ok, apparently they have ALWAYS opened at noon..I don't remember that from last time....

Blimey..i don't remember that at all.
Well the place is under new management now, so they are not quite as obliging.
I think the best plan is for me to get the draw ready in advance, and get everyone to check their opponent's roster at the start of the first game.

Hi, I need to organise a bit and confirm things but I should (and if theres space) be able to make it down there without too many problems. I'd very likely be there with a mate from Peterborough so I'll reserve two places if you have them.
Payment could be sent in the post in a few days time or I could pop down to the hobbit if you have a games night there.

I'll save two spaces for you.
Pop a cheque in the post in a few days, that'll be fine. Nice to have you come along
We don't play in the Hobbit anymore. We did have a league there a few years ago, but didn't last very long..apparently we didn't drink enough beer

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Cheque sent
Edit: ...arggh, ok, just as I was putting it into the envelope I noticed that the stupid cashier typed Simon Martin rather than Simon Merton (and I'd said it twice clearly to make sure they got it right
