This was posted on Matt Forbeck's blog yesterday:

This Saturday, starting at 3 PM, I’ll be stomping around one of the biggest Blood Bowl tournaments of the year: the Chaos Cup! It’s held at the Games Workshop Chicago Battle Bunker in Downers Grove, Illinois, and I’ll be there to sign books, talk Blood Bowl, and have some fun. If you’re in the area, please stop by, say hi, and cheer on your favorite team!

Well done Lucifer - another title for the Amazons, surely NAF no 1 again when the results go in. Tough on Geggster - made the final two years running - and Valen came 3rd I am told.

I missed making the finals to battle Lucifer's Zons for the second time in the tournament by 10 points.

Was a good time. My only loss came from the Zons :) by far my best showing at the Cup. So close, hopefully next year I will make it finally :P

Congratulations, Geoff! Nice to see the trophy stays this side of the Atlantic (and a 1,2,3 to boot!) :D

Well done mate, icing on the cake of a great trip I bet!

Now where's that thread about Amazons being over-powered...?

Cheers guys,

Great tournie, and thoroughly recommend Chicago to all (just don't bother with the beer - it's ruuuuubbbbbbbbbbbbbbiiiishhh!).

Thanks to Dean (?), Leo, Andy, Tom and Paul for some real tough games, and commisserations to Paul in particular for the final.

Well done to Valen's "balls out" approach and Galak for running the event.

Back home now (despite the 4 hour delay! ) and looking forwards to some sleep between now and the WC.

Congrats to the hairy cue ball. Well done mate!

And hard luck to the Egg, so close yet again mate.

Valen - hear you took my advice and went for the "balls on the table" lizzies. Seems it worked pretty well!

Cheers Dave, though I don't think I'll reach that No.1 spot again until the PeteW error is corrected ;-)

Now, where's Frost...? Let's see about that little agreement we made...

Just got back from Chi town and what a great extended holiday me and Rachel had.

Tourney-wise, it was a case of, as Gav put it, "3 wins and 2 Brits", drew both Geggster and Geoff but some great, nail biting games thrown in and a holiday to truly remember. All good fun, and I have 350 pictures of the week i need to go and upload now!

Thanks to all the guys who made us feel welcome and what a great tournament. Can't wait to see you again at the WC.
