Three reasons I hope if we do this.Stout Youngblood wrote:
Good idea but why pay $15-20 when all I have to spend is $4.99? I use these for BB, Mordheim and Necromunda gangs.
For customization, I figure all colours should at least be available to order, because some people might like the idea of having the case match the figs inside.GalakStarscraper wrote:Now Stickers I'm not opposed to. But I thought many folks might like to customize these for their own teams and our logo would be a distraction.
The metal plate will be removable. In fact ... we'll probably sell the cases with and without them.hoomin_erra wrote:The only problem i would see with metal plates, is that if the case is jarred, then the figs coulg go bouncing about inside the case.
Sounds like a great idea & I love the idea of a magnetic football, I'll order a few cases (at least 3 (or more)GalakStarscraper wrote:The metal plate will be removable. If you are purchasing Impact!'s magnetic base weights for your team ... the metal plate means that if the case is jarred ... they aren't going anywhere. I've been told that Tim once demonstrated this with his version of the case we are trying to sell by tossing his case with his figures in it across a room and into a wall to prove the point of why magnetic bases and a metal plate in your carrying case are a good idea.
Add this in with the magnetic football that we are coming out with this month ... and hopefully it all works together.

The case isn't magnetic ... just the bases of your figures ... so they'll stick to the metal plate ... so you should be fine. The ball we are making is not magnetic either ... but it will stick to the base of the player if you are using magnetic bases.Gumboo wrote:One question, and slightly left field, but might customs be a bit suspicious of you bringing a magnetic case on board say a plane? Dunno, just though so from my old secret-agent days
