Ulfwerner??

Post by Rustycan »

I was wondering if anyone out there has any idea where to find Ulfwerner minis?? Acording to Darkson they are a wolf-man, for the new Norse LRB 5.0 team. Does GW make one? Or who would???

Do a search for werewolf modles there are a lot of great non GW models out there. As for the GW models you can use the 2ed Star still available through GWUS, or the Necro werewolves, or some bear-man thing someone else well point out.

There are massive conversion needs but the heads and hands really look like they could be useful for conversion of existing norse models.

Impact! may be offering a "hairy Nordic psycho" model at some point in the near future, but you didn't hear it from me, right?

It's a stupid name and position. Just rule them out of the game and you don't need to worry about it. :pissed:

I have to agree with you Snots, but as they become official in about 4 weeks, I can either get on the Jerome Bettis or get under him..

I didn't really care for the Ulfwerener position at first. However my brother who plays Norse in our league is doing much much better this season with the changes to the team and i've really started to like the changes myself. He had a pretty bad streak of luck with his LRB4 norse team suffering 52 casualties in 15 games with a TD rate of 10:28. This season he is undefeated so far, despite not liking the changes to the team at first. With him becoming better as a coach and getting used to the new version of the team he's really tearing our league a part. (which i'm really glad to see.) First game of the season he killed 2 of my Black Orcs and my Troll.

As for miniatures right now we're using rackham kelt spasm warriors for the Ulfwereners.

snipped the weapons off the animal forms and they seem to work pretty well for right now.
