When the 3rd edition of the game came out in the 90s, I picked it up, but still used my elf team. I gave the orcs to a friend and stuck the humans away in a box, planning on making a team for friends to use to play BB with me. At this time, I was in South Carolina and played for about a year until opponents disappeared again.
Still in South Carolina and I recently became interested in playing BB again ( the danger in looking at old figs I am afraid
). I have also been reading your site for the last month which has helped to fan the fire. I down loaded and printed the Living Rule Book and have learned the rules again. When things slow down over the holidays, I hope to down load some of the on-line tools you guys use to play BB and get started. I am also hoping to get some local friends to play with the the actual minis and this is the reason for my post.....
I am looking to buy another human plastic set like the one that came with the game (3rd edition I believe). I have the 12 from my set, old griff, zugg, and the count, but I would like another set of 12 to ensure I have enough minis to play with no matter what happens to the humans ‘rules wise’ in the future. I also want to paint the whole team at one time. The paint job on the team I buy does not matter since I plan on painting them. Not that I paint that well, but I enjoy it.
My real motive for the team is a full second team for friends to play BB with me and hopefully get them hooked!
I have just started looking at EBAY for these and I am not sure on the going price for these guys. Would I be better off just trying to buy a used game box on EBAY? I would also be interested if any of you would be willing to sell to me. It would have to be for money since I have nothing really tradeable. I would appreciate any help or suggestions that you guys can provide.

This is not a must, but I would be fun to have a full team to paint. This means I would also like to try and get a big guy and 3 cheer leaders. I know I can get them from GW, but If I can get them with out the killer shipping it would be great. I like the ogre Morg'n Thorg (SP?). Not the original, but the one (I think it is the current version) where his arm with the spike is pulled back and he is leaning forward. I also like the three human cheer leaders with the ponytails since they look like they go with the team. I can pick up a command set of warhammer figs to use as a coaching staff from any local gaming store. Any suggestions on which command set I should look for would be great.
