Tournament Legal Figures
Hi,
I was wondering what figures were considered tournament legal. Do they have to be made by GW? Do they need to be painted? etc.
Thanks!

Does GW do any tournaments in the USA or just in the UK?
The Adeptius Cup was GW (Chicago) .. but not sure if that will happen again in 2006.
The Chaos Cup is GW and this is the 3rd year that it has run. Chicago Nov 5/6
The GenCon Bowl which is the largest tournament in North American each year is held in August in Indianapolis. The first year it was GW figs only. 2004 and 2005 it was any figs. 2006 ... uhhhhh ... well ... let's say a lot is up in the air ... it might go back to being GW sponsered which would mean GW figs only.

I'm not sure what the % of GW to non-GW tournies is in the US, but I'd hazard a guess that the independents far outnumber the GW events.Scrat wrote:Thanks!

There's always the Tournament Postings section here, and most Tourneys are posted on the NAF site.

You have to be a member of the NAF (which stands for Nuffle Amorical Football, the name in the background fluff for the league that played BB, of course from 3ed the league was supposed to have collapsed , anyway that's where the name came from) to be able to access the forum which discusses NAF related stuff as well as BB in general. Might find more info on tourneys there as they are one of the big things the NAF focuses on.

Not a shameless plug, but I'd suggest going and having a browse. The forum and a few other bits are members only, but there's plenty to look at anyway.. rankings, upcoming tournies. other sections etc.Scrat wrote:This is slightly off topic, but is there any significant difference between the NAF website and this TalkBloodBowl website? Also, what does NAF mean?

Because TBB is a free-for-all forum, whilst the NAF fotum can only be accessed by the members.
