8.5 GBP for some dice!? Amazing! Where does the demand for Blocking dice come from? I thought that everyone was with the NAF now anyway...

Dice wanted!

Post by paulipupu »

So our store started a league and got plenty of new bowlers (including me). That means that people also want dice.. we don't want to:
a) Join to NAF just to get the dice (there are no such events here)
b) Order them from US GW-store (shipping cost)
c) Buy from EBay

So if someone from EU-region (preferred) has some extra dice, we would be interested. I think there could be maybe 4 or 5 players interested..
PM me or send e-mail paavoDOTmartikainenATgmailDOTcom if interested to sell your extras.

Let us know exactly how many you need and someone will probably hook you up. Even if you have someone in the US order them the shipping should be only about $2 USD

From the US to Finland, yes, 2 or 3 dollars. GW to the US is about $8. :o

I ordered about 7 extra sets when I picked up some extras. PM sent.

GW HAS NO MORE Blocking Dice

Post by VTDrillSGT »

Just got of the phone with GW US and they said that the are SOLD OUT of blocking dice and don't know if they plan on making any more. Those of us in the U.S. are going to have a harder time finding them I guess.

According to the Jervis interview:

viewtopic.php?t=17227

The US block dice are on permenment back order and are highly likely to ever be available. According to Jervis, the only way to get block dice at the moment is the box game or a NAF membership. He did mention something about getting the box set extra's separately, but this is not likely to happen for a long time.

Getting dice custom made

Post by Cramy »

I'm actually considering getting some block dice custom made. I started to look around, but for some reason it is pretty hard to find a company that wants to custom-make BloodBowl block dice. :)

I'm also looking for original-looking 16mm d6's and a d8 for bloodbowl.

I found one company that makes some pretty neat stuff.

www.crystalcaste.com

Take a look at their Dwarven Stone and Dwarven Metal selections.

Unfortunately, they don't make 16mm d6's or 16mm d8's and sell them by themselves (they do have 12mm brass and 12mm copper d6 pairs, but no 16mm). And they don't custom make dice yet.

The guy that I've been talking to suggested that I talk to him in November as they plan to provide more options for selling 16mm dice.

Anybody out there ever had dice custom-made, or know of a company that would do that? Or even find a company that make dice similar to the Crystal Caste ones, but sell 16mm d6's and d8's individually?
