Regarding the size: are they standing on large monster bases or on "normal" bases?
Anyhow, I already have 8 BB Ogres (7 Ogres and 1 Cheerleader I'm going to convert into a player) so I'll definately stick to them. If it wasn't for their enormous size, I would say that they are by far the best of the new BB minis
!
Cheers,
Tante Käthe.

is definitley a 25mm base, same as the Chaos Warrior...
that's one of the reasons I'm interested.. they might actually be a GOOD scale from GW...

Yeah, me too, you'll have to wait about 3 years though if my other projects are anything to go by...

At least you could apply for the Pensionist's Painting Award (aka. Grumpy Old Men Cup).

It seems they come with seperate arms ... is that right?
It would make converting them a lot easier, so maybe even I could try it ... ahum.

Not that ive checked or anything but im not keen on those monstrosities they have over their bellies... they look like giant woks to me!
if you had to cement them on that would be alright as i reckon they would be a bit more bloodbowly but the only prob then would be is that id have a team of topless ogres...

The "Woks" I hear are "Gutplates", the traditional armour of Ogres.
I got to see these figs in the plastic yesterday, and they are VERY nice. I'm not entirely sure about the conversion possibilities TBH, because of the way the arms are positioned - holding double handed weapons or cannons (Seriously...cannons...very nice) but there are some very nice bits.
There are also some Gnoblars who will make IDEAL fans/hooligans/coaching staff/whatever.

I'm confident enough now with GS to not worry too much about funny arm positions....
well, I think I am..
as long as these are plastic I can butcher them to my heart's content and then piece them all back together again...
expect a LOT of knuckledusters though!

new Humans look great too...
but something about fielding 7 S5 players in a TR110 tourney appeals to my style of play...

I don't think I like the new Humans. I would like a TR110 tourney though. Another Ogre on the pitch would sure make things easier on me.
