Pro Elf Team wanted...

Post by browwnrob »

Ahoy...

Trying to build up my collection (and options for when a team backfires! ) i thought Pro Elves would be a cool team to try out...

Just looking for a team, i rarely see pro elves on ebay just wondering if any TBB'ers have one they dont need! :)

Thanks in advance!

Well, I guess they don't appear on eBay because they are only a year or so old and were only available from Mail Order. Most of the stuff on eBay is from people who have drifted out of the hobby and want to flog their stuff... Pro Elves are too recent for that to realistically happen. The 2nd ed generic elf models are essentially for the same team, though they generally don't come in group batches either, and would probably be as expensive as buying the new models from GW.

IMO you would be better off just subbing HE models, if you have them.

Actually, I lucked out and found a brand new box of the pro-elves on ebay eariler this year from a seller that had them mistakenly listed as High Elves. I could tell by the photo that they were the new Pro Elves, and won the auction for $15.00, plus $5.00 shipping (take that GW!!); Anyway, just check the posts thoroughly and you may get lucky, too.

brownrob - if you want all new stuff, give me a list and I will order it here and get it sent for free. All you'd have to pay for then is the postage from London to NI. Probably best to place an order over £25.

for the record I think the Shadowforge Elves are considerably better models and cheaper too, but I know some guys have a GW-only policy when it comes to buying models...

I don't like the helmets on the newer shadowforge figures although I generally do really like their stuff

bollox to it... I pity anyone who feels the need to attend the badly managed so called "official events"....

GW couldn't organise an orgy at a brothel...

attend independant tourneys only and field any damned models you want..

still, at least you get a really great coin, right?

Sure they could,

but the ladies would be overpriced, the rules of conduct would be lame and open to interpretaition and a a large portion of the ladies would be in a different sizescale

;)
