If I were you I'd definately use auctionsniper for this one. http://www.auctionsniper.com/

I've used it and it works very good. I didn't trust it at first but I have come too. Your first few uses are free and it can save you some cash. I like it because I can snipe those auctions that close in the middle of the night.

Ditching BloodBowl

Post by BigD »

Don't worry folks, I ain't ditching this game. Love it but just don't have the time and have accumulated a HUGE collection over time. Unfortunately though some of the teams I'm crap at playing and well I'm holding onto 2 particular teams (ShadowForge Girls painted by Woody) and an Orc Team painted by a friend.

I'm more into it for the fun and just don't have the time. But with having two kids now thats to be expected. Became a Dad again on the 7th Sept with a Son (Leon) and Kat's keeping really busy raising him and the money is needed. Besides, would rather see the teams get sold and played with as well ;-) But keeping a couple and will be painting a Skaven Team myself over the next year as well. Once I've got some time that is ;-)

You'll still see me round, just keeping a bit quieter though

BigD

PS - Anybody in London an up to a game sometime let me know. I do get let out for good behaviour sometimes ;-) Actually getting in some Star Wars Miniatures these days

I'd be up for a game mate, but probably not until after Christmas... I'm in South East London (Plumstead way) but I will be very busy/distracted until mid-Jan at the least. After that I'd be happy to meet up and destroy any team you still have in your posession :D  :o :-?

Hmmm ... I seriously question if Mrs. BigD should let the guy who outbid Dave continue bidding.

His feedback:

Does not seem to support his sudden buying spree:

Congrats!

I guess it will be financed by your birthday funds?

BTW, was the 2nd bid of yours a bluff bid?
