I have a sneak feeling thats was the lame excuse they drummed up for the general disorganisation miniature wise.ianwilliams wrote:Nope, and even the coin wasn't ready so its being posted out.
No coin ready, when they had about 6 months to do it.
Very few of the new models for sale. I bought the last Griff and Troll at about 9:10 sat morning. Varag had already gone.
Shame fanatic/GW didn't take advantage of the fact that there were about 200 coaches there who more than likely would have spend plenty on the new stuff it it was available.
Shame they also didn't take advantage by selling a completely new mini as well like they did with the BB last year with the Ogre team.
Great Tourney, but i didnt think they could do any worse than last year re the mini's , but i was wrong yet again

I got a new troll after lunch - you just had to use the instore mail order - but I agree you would have thought they'd put on a display like last year with all the new stuff available.McDeth wrote:Very few of the new models for sale. I agree, the situation wasn't great- I wrote on the survey thingy that I thought a cabinet with new models (like last year) would have been a good idea, and possibly a stall at the side of the hall with loads of models ready for purchase (the Warhammer World queue was oppressively long most of the weekend!).
Still, there's always next year. And Mail Order...

...than again, if fanatic can afford to miss such a money making opprtunity, they can't be in too poor a financial state, and should be around for years, nay, decades to come!Shame fanatic/GW didn't take advantage of the fact that there were about 200 coaches there who more than likely would have spend plenty on the new stuff it it was available.
