bloodbowl auctions on ebay
Seems like the bloodbowl auctions on ebay just seemed to get spammed...single minis by one seller. they don't sell and keep ending right back up there.

Unless they're rare'uns may as well just package 'em up as a team or something close thereof. I don't like bidding on single minis 'cause if I win some but not others and I wanted to make a team of 'em I'm screwed.

Anything I say is totally opinion and (knowing my luck) probably completely wrong. Keep this in mind.

Maybe it's annoying, but he get's most out of his minis. He will make 300% of each mini in contrast to what he earns selling them in lots or teams.
The only positive thing I can see is that he addresses people who already have a a team and looking for one particular mini/variant they are missing and who do not have the intention to buy 20 mini at once and dumb the rest somehow.
Still annoying, but frankly you can't blame him for doing so. I only critice the high starting bid for non-rare single minis. Anyway, I once bought something from this seller and he seems to be a nice bloke.
I usually sell minis in pairs or lots of 4-5, a convenient amount IMHO.

If its the guy i am thinking of he is not a bad bloke, i do quite a lot of private sales with him having met him through ebay. He usualy finds the mini's i need in the condition i need. He also gave free plugs for my painting to his buyers when asked with no mention of a fee for himself.
But i do agree with the iritating page after page of single mini's which are not even that rare anyway, but if he wants to keep paying the listing fee...

Margaret Thorn is splitting up her son's old collection of stuff (his name is Jason) to the best of my knowledge...
I have bought quite a bit of stuff from her and she is a great seller.. I didn't think she was buying anything though...
Maybe she got the Ebay bug!

That's what happens. You buy too much just for the one mini you need. You sell the rest and realize that the reselling will pay for the minis you kept and it starts to snowball. You buy a few more lots and BAM! You're hooked and all your minis are paid for by other people.Norse wrote:Margaret Thorn is splitting up her son's old collection of stuff (his name is Jason) to the best of my knowledge...

He is a nice guy.
He's been helping me with my 2nd Ed collection, doing several deals outside of Ebay.
At one time, he out bid me on an auction that he was bidding on only to get the mini's for me. When he realized what he did, he sold me the minis for pretty much what I would have paid for them in the first place.
