Ok, I've done some "homework".... so here is what I'm thinking about: a kind of rules wich personalize stadiums and work like a bumper, for bigger teams, but don't make it harder for begginers...
In creating a team you pick a field and a localization for your stadium - using for them the Jonh K Lewis rules (BB9)... perhaps with the exeption that one needs a «regular underground» let's say, like compact earth... and I'm not very sure about bad turf...
Stadiums should begin with something like 5k seats.
I'm thinking of only 2 improvements to stadiums:
Making more seats and dooming (?!!?) it, when you doom you can no longer add seats.
The seats will only be important if the gate is smaller than the stadium: then you can add to the gate:
(stadium - gate)/2 OR
Home FFs /2
Wichever is smaller.
Another role stadiums can have is mantaining high FF, something like: If the FF is 5 times smaller than stadium then you can add one to FF rolls.
The price of seats should increase as the stadium gets bigger... and the simplest way I can think of is:
You can only buy 5k seats after each game, no more, no less.
The price for these seats is the seats the stadium already have.
And stadiums should be limited to some 80-100k seats.
These are simple some ideias (and confusions!)... and I think I really should have cleaned and developed this a little more before posting... but I was weager to hear some coments soon...
And... how do you call "compact earth/sand" fields, anyway?!?
