Discuss Fantasy football-style board games - GW's Blood Bowl, Impact!'s Elfball, Privateer Press' Grind, Heresy's Deathball, etc. THIS IS NOT AN NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL SITE!
1) Take Zug - he is the same cost as an Ogre, but I run the risk of only fielding 10 men if I play another human team. However, not having him at all could be worse than losing him for one or two matches
2) Take a big guy - my ogre is converted and fairly cool. he has also been somewhat lucky in my league, and is a good distraction. but then again, he's pretty stoopid and a potential liability. but I will always be able to have him....
3) Take none. I can then have 12 players and decent rerolls/FF, but without a solid lump on the LOS
Marcus: there's not pre-match powergaming... lizards are the stronger and... about you... it's easy, never lost against skaven... as always said... rats are the usual food of reptiles
As far as I know, it's following the team choices in the LRB, which includes Rookie Big Guys, so I think they are allowed. Otherwise there goes some of the fun of my Goblin team - Two dumb Trolls!
Oh, and the only Star Player I'll be taking is Bomber Dribblesnot, both for his bombs which will help against Teams making pockets and cages and his combination of Accurate and a distinct lack of Stunty. Time for a passing play!
Might be taking Hakflem, or might not. Probably decide on the day
