Apothecary query

Hi,
I want to use an apothecary with my fiery Amazonians at BB '04, but there is no figure available. Is it ok to use any GW figure (God forbid that anyone other than the GW would produce a figure...)?
Cheers
Leip

You should probably direct your question to the BB tournament staff.

TBH your opponent would be an *rs*h*l* to stop you using an apoth because you don't have an appropriate figure.
I don't think GW care that much one way or another.

Use an Amazon from the Mordhiem range - they are quite sweet models as well.

Since I usually only play irregularly in friendlies, I forgot I was supposed to have one, and didn't take an apothecary mini to last years BB. I was told by Andy that all I needed was a spare team member to represent it (which I had), so all was OK. None of my opponents seemed to care anyway. So the official line is that you should have one, but no-one really minds if you don't.
I'm planning to convert one for this years BB, to go with my skaven cheerleader.

my apothecary for my norse team is themed as a 'snow shaman' which is a lineman coated in baking powder (to look like snow). I don't think you can tell what range the model is from tho' so maybe he'll be confiscated

same idea but is a head coach (painted) needed to argue the call-gain +1 on brillant coaching?
guess yes but not like anyone cares

Support staff look nice but I'd never let them effect the game play. I think most people feel the same.

I had a painted figure just in case I met an a-hole, but no-one really cared.

Anyone remember 2nd ed where painted cheerleaders were adding more to your fan's chanting score than unpainted ones?

Although you technically need a model to represent all coaching staff bar the head coach, I doubt many people will pull you up on it.
Any GW figure will do, technically, although a Marine Apothecary might not win any painting points

Remember the painting points...not having the right fig may well cost you quite a lot in that department.

Last year went with a human team and managed to lose my apoth fig

so went with an already painted dwarf. Noone seemed to mind at all
