Does anyone know or have a rumour about this year rules?? will be Starplayers allowed? price increased?

Rumour says the GenCon system will be in place...
I think we'd be better off star free period, but so long as Jervis has a chubb for them we're stuck with them.

Don't bet on it ... JJ thinks that BB players are math stupid and that the average player would be too confused by the GenCon star system to understand it.
His last proposal which was bullocks was to have all Stars cost 1.5x their LRB price. Now I've failed to have explained to me how 1.5x is easier then (price + (price over 100k if any)) but I'm not holding my breath on seeing the GenCon system which worked in place at the Blood Bowl. I just don't give Fanatic that much credit ... sorry.

Hehe, why not just print a list of all Starplayers with the adjusted price. Most BB players i've heard of can actually read ...
So you can also easily tweak the prices of Moron (lower) and Zug (higher)

here's a novel idea....lets go with the wishes of pretty much EVERYONE who was there last year and have no star players beyond the Goblin weapon dudes.
Not going to happen, seeing as Jervis seemed dreadfully hurt when he realised how deeply unpopular they are.

I had that thought right after I posted...
You'd just have to write "No star players are allowed except for Scrappa, Nobbla, Bomma and Fungus, and they may only be hired by Goblin teams."

I there a way to get an exception for ZARA to be allowed on the dwarf team for half the price printed on the card

I'm actually going to do this for GenCon at this point. Just have a table with the stars costs ... quick dirty simple ... no arguments.
