Just reserevd my room at the hotel (using the code, thanks again Joe/Paul), couple of things which hopefully the reservations their end now have sorted:

They didn't recognise 'NAF Championship', they seem to have the booking as 'Gaming Convention'

The woman in reservations (nice lady called Beverley) at first thought it was still the £50 per night rate (double/twin room) even with code, she has now confirmed the £45 per night rate so hopefully it shouldn't be an issue.

Ive just rang and they said they had no clue about the event and its £80 a night with the code?

Just called the number myself. The room was quoted again at £80 per room per night. They advised me to call the hotel between 0830 and 1730 weekdays.

Apparently, the central booking line doesn't have the discounted rates on the system, so it's best to go direct.

Roll on tomorrow...

I've booked this morning at 11h30 and got the discount.
The lady who answered said another gentlemen had booked for the "Games Event" that morning and there was no need for a code.
I'll pay 90£ for 2 nights for 2 people.

Can i ask why the change of venue?

I maybe worng but GW has changed its policy on table space given to non-core (space marine) games.

I think its limited to 40 people max.

I am sure someone will correct me if i am wrong.
