Enforcement was always the problem. In all the years I was there reffing there was nothing I was empowered to do about it. Removing prizes from them sounds like a good way to do it.

Nice one refs!

Sadly won't be able to make it this year, which will end my 13 year unbroken attendance. One of my closest friends is getting married, so I kind of have to go to that.

My son was gutted when I told him and he actually cried. :'(

Just booked the Orchard for the tournament. I've always stayed 3 night in the past but only 2 nights this time, sadly. Friday and Saturday night they offered the discounted rate (£63 a night) but said they couldn't do that for the 3rd night and as the hotel is busy they wanted £145 for the Sunday night! It's a shame as the Sunday is my birthday and now I can't have a drink and have to drive home...Still looking forward to it, just not as much....

That's definitely annoying. I also usually do the three nights, but doesn't appear I will this time.

Have a look at Airbnb for the Sunday, I might do the same (will only be staying for Friday and Saturday, anyway), as the hotel is pretty steep, even with the discounted rate.
