Actually, that's not a bad idea - I'd like to try and arrange this with GW on behalf of NAF for next year (sorry Tim!). Would be a nice incentive for the rankings...

OMM ... i was just kidding!

If you do something like this, they should at least give a ticket to everyone who's been #1 in the last year, otherwise it's VERY unfair. Actually i don't like to have any financial bonus from any single NAF position, it does not fit the mood of the rankings.

I'd rather have something like the top 100 players getting a shot at the Blood Bowl tournament tickets before the rest goes into regular sale.

I don't think the NAF number 1 should get a ticket automatically, but I do think a portion, perhaps 25%, should be allocated to NAF members. The NAF could then organise a competition or random draw from all those interested and send the names to GW. After that, any tickets not used by NAF members go back into the pot and they go on general release.

Or something as simple as have two "on sale" dates. The first one for NAF (and only a certain percentage of the total availble tickets). Make this limited to one per person, maybe even have the member's NAF# printed on the ticket to prevent any sort of "less than fair" practices.

I am probably being somewhat selfish, as I want to increase my chances of getting a ticket next year

Precisely the idea I had Darth. Give NAF members a 24 hour head start.

If GW want the hardcore of BB fans, they need the NAF players. Not people who are there just because it sounded like a decent way to spend a weekend.
