Couple of questions relating Plague Ridden -Trait:

If player dies because of pushed into the crowd will Plague Ridden work?
Rulebook says: "as the result of a Block action performed or a Foul action committed by a player with this Trait"

Do you need to pay or do you get new player for free?
Rulebook says: "this player may be permanently hired, exactly as you would a Journeyman player that had played for your team".
Compare with Masters of Undeath: "this player may be permanently hired for free" (why different wording if they works same?)

(I know that old Nurgle's Rot said "for free", but as stated we can't use that for reference)

A player is pushed into the crowd as a result of a Block Action, I'd say your Plague Ridden triggers. However, as the player isn't causing the injury, the crowd, is I can also say it doesn't trigger. I'd lean towards the former until FAQ covers it.
