Space allocation for a tournament

Folks I'm trying to figure out how many players I can fit into the table space I have available for my upcoming tournament.

We're using 36 inch long pitches oriented lengthwise on the table. These pitches include dugouts, reroll, score and turn markers. The pitch width is 30 inches which matches the tables.

Last year I think I roughly did one pitch per 6 foot table. This year I'm four months out from the event and only have 1 slot left assuming the same space allocations from last year. I've got at least 4-5 players who would like to come but won't know for a few months.

How far apart should the pitches be to maintain comfort for the players? I was thinking 6-12 inches on both sides.

6*4 ft table should hold 2 matches comfortably.

Note our tables are 6 foot by 30 inches I believe. (That's standard US Banquet tables) Pitches are 3 feet by 30 inches.

I think the idea of space for a beer is a good one. That's approximately 6 to 12 inches. Maybe a roster sheet and a template or to as well or your tournament tray.

This event is BYOB so I hope folks are enjoying their beverages!
