WANC Blood Bowl League

This year we will be going back to basics with the league.
We will not be running the FUCCUP this year.

Any team can be used in the league. This includes Slaan, Chaos Pack and Underworld teams.

Teams will have a treasury of 1,100,000gp to build their team.
All teams must have a minimum of 11 players to start the league.
Teams that loose player during the league will given free journeymen if they cannot afford to buy a replacement player.
Teams will be given a maximum of 5 fan factor for free. You team must be:
• Team is built (includes being stuck to base) – 1 Fan Factor Received
• Fully Painted – 2 Fan Factor received
• Fully Based – 1 Fan Factor Received
• Team and Players Named – 1 Fan Factor Received

Teams will be split into 4 groups.
Teams are to play each person in their group once.
Top team from each group will progress into the knock out stages.

Throughout the course of the group stages team will be able to participate in special exhibition matches.
These will vary from:
• Death Bowl
• Dungeon Bowl
• Wizard Bowl
Teams will receive a bonus for their next game if they win one of these exhibition matches.
Teams that take part in the exhibition matches:
• Gain no progression – i.e. No Start Player Points
• Teams revert back to normal post game – i.e. no player loss due to death or injury.

There will be a £5 charge, as entry for the league. This will go towards a new shield for the league and the prize pool for the additional fun games. Entry can be purchased from http://www.firestormgames.co.uk/events

For those who are not members of Firestorm, the is a £3.60 charge per person, per visit to the venue. (alternatively you can purchase a quarterly membership, for the league.)

P.S. Player interest will determine the number and size of groups for the league.

I'm trying to find an Orc team, if I can't find one in time then some sort of Elves or Chaos, don't know yet.

i have an Orc team, if you would like to lend them for the league, will pm you whats in the team model wise.

With the fee, its for the entire night you are there. So if you want to play another league game/friendly or another system you are more than welcome to.

I got a chaos team

Ok everybody just a quick update.

The league will be starting on the 9th April. You can sort out entry through Firestorm. http://www.firestormgames.co.uk/blood-bowl-league

Remember their is a £5 entry into the league.

Also for those that would like to play, but do not have a team. I have an Orc team and a Nurgle team that I can lend out.

After talking to Andy, there is going to be a slight change in the league.

Rather than play each team once, you will be playing everyone twice.

I will update the schedule with the additional matches. (but pretty much a re-peat of the first couple of weeks)
