Elfball returns to Swindon, Feb 5th 2011

Hi all,
the Home of Elfball (TM) will be hosting the second coming on 5th February 2011, returning to the lovely people at the Sandgate Pub, Oxford Road. Cost will be £5, to support nice certificates and the like, and possibly even some lunch. Cash on the day is fine.
Scoring system not yet set, as Spiky and I haven't managed to get a game in since Mansfield (real life grumble grumble), but team choice will be 150 with skills allowed.
The lovely MK Massive (not mattwhile and gazza, the miniatures) will be taking to the field - who's willing to take them on?

I might be able to make it. Have to relearn the rules and my team hasno more paint on it since last time but it's possible.

Prize support from Impact:
1st - 12 man Gnome team. These figures are excellent, and would make good proxies for any other team with a few big things and lots of small things
, as well as being a devastating team in their own right.
2nd - halfling sideline figures - more quality figures
3rd - elastic skill rings - a good alternative to the plastics, which hold on to the bases, and are in a variety of colours
Most removals - IMPCRUSHER, RAAAA!
Would be great to get some new blood to this one, happy to teach anyone to play beforehand on Vassal (easy to use) or in person (within an hour's travel of sunny Swindon).

a beginner having only played about 6 games and only once in the last year or so but i will give it a go
