I was thinking if a 2nd ed board and stuf that come's with it is worth buying...
they come on ebay pretty often...
the three parted board looks cool ( can you use it for 3rd ed blood bowl ??)
and some models..
but the rules sets and stuff is it cool ?

this one seems cheap: http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... =7389&rd=1

is it worth ?? I actualy begin to believe it is !!

the squares are smaller on the second ed. board so the pass template doesn't match up the same. rules wise...i have never even read my 2nd ed. rule book. the boards look cool but with the bigger minis these days, things would get VERY cluttered. but i think it is worth getting a set if for no other reason than having a little blood bowl history.

the second edition pitch is actually bigger iirc so passes don't go as far

It looks quite cool, but the uneven surface can get frustrating if minis fall over. Heavy bases (fill them with joint compound, clay, or whatever) will negate it for the most part though :D

The size is different as mentioned above.

Actually the squares are smaller so passes go further. Like mentioned before it's great to have. If playing a league, mix 'em up. Play a few games on each. BB pitches across the world have variations. This can represent that.
