Post by gken1 »

phil's figs has released a new gnoll team. Help support him so he'll continue to churn out quality alternative blood bowl figs.

They look great, even better than the Valkyres. But why only four different variants?

Because it cost a h*ll of a lot of money to cast figures. Phil cast 4 poses just like he did with the Valkyries which sold well so he made 2 more. If the Gnolls sell well he'll probably scuplt/cast 2 more. ... at least that's been the trend.

I have to say that I think they look better in metal that the greens did. I know they're the same minis but these don't look as scrawny.

I think the Gnolls look good and I'm going to place an order for them tonight. Question is what kind of conversions to do to make them all different.

I'd buy some but I can't think of what to use them as...Norse?

Anything I say is totally opinion and (knowing my luck) probably completely wrong. Keep this in mind.

Scruffy Human and Alternate Beastman both come to mind.

They are great, especially Gnoll Striker 1, which has a really nice catcher posse. Nice work from Phil again.

Nice work! What do you think - could they be used as werewolves for necromantic teams?

Arg ...!

Could you mail phil and ask him to add in 2 each of the new valkyrie poses (2x Nr.5 and 2x Nr. 6) for me?

I ordered my valkyries when there were only 4 poses, but i did not want to pay full shipping for those 4 minis.
