Well .. 2 days to go for those tree minis, and things have gone mad on them.
The reason i set a message on the board about those minis was to stablish a GA on them, so the interested ones can contact me and tell me they want the pieces, and set a price for them.
If i would not liked the minis, i wouldn't even bid on them, just post the links, and that should be all.
Now, two people from TBB have already bid on two of the ebay auctions, without telling me, and one of them has started a bidding war against a non TBB member. It doesn't drive me mad or anything, but i would have liked a little bit of involvement.
Anyway .. i'll try to snip some of those minis to complete mi orc team.
regards

Timun,
I am not sure of your GAs problem. I could only find one TBBer in the bid histories for those items that in on the EBay reference list. And as you would well know, it is only those on this list that ask for and should take notice of GAs.
I myself am not on this list and have no desire to be. However, I will also refrain from bidding when I see a TBBer is on an item I like. I do this out of courtesy not because a GA is on the item. On the other hand, if I wanted an item badly that a TBBer was on I would not hesitate to bid.
Cheers,
Dan.

Bid what you'd pay for them. Don't bid more than you'd be willing to pay. Forget GAs.
Dan, that list is not so much for GAs but for the courtesy you mentioned. If I see someone on the list, I'll usually drop a note and ask how bad they want them and just warn them that they may be bidding against paddleforfun in the near future.

I don't really want to open an issue here, but i just think like
Snots.
First thing i do is ponder how badly i want a mini, then, track the bidding history to check for known nick handles, and then inform them, or in the most cases, post a link on the For Sale!! forum.
Even when i don't really want the minis, i post the links, so others can see it in TBB before non TBBers. I have offered minis to people on the board, since i'm not a collector.
(Thanx for the offer
Dave, but i have nothing to exchange them for!)
It is up to you if you cope or not with the GA thing, you are not obligated (spelling?) to do it, nor you have to respect it if you chose not to do it,
Dan. Thanx for the courtesy thou.
And just for a happy ending ... good luck
