BBMag#4 from ebay? Why?
You can buy it for 2.5 BSP from MO-UK and two MOtrolls told me that if you order just the magazine it will cost no shipping to Germany (like the subsricption issues, which also cost no postage).
I hope you haven't paid 9,- Euros plus S&H at ebay, did you?

No problem.
The MOTroll at the phone told me, that the subsciption costs 12 BSP for 6 issues incl. postage (!). Then he told me that subscriptions start earliest with #6 (that's what they told sputnik, too). But now I have received my bill, and it says BBMag subscription #5-11. We'll see.

No comment on ebay buyer behaviour when it comes to BB...
IMHO the BBmag play value is not much higher than its coverprice, it gives you minimal extra rules and if you're a TBBler it does not give you any new information anyway. But this damn collecting urge we have...

Kinda in line with the topic...
I just called GW US all set to get a subscription... well, I was told that there is no subscription in the US.
Why not??
*sigh* I will NEVER understand GW...

Old story: 3 MOTrolls = 5 different answers.
Just take it as a balancing issue
We Europeans get a subscription, you Americans still can buy BBMag#3 at GW-US

(we just had 5 days time for that)

well, according to the trolls, you can get a MOUK sub and they'll mail it to you over here in the states... i'm testing that theory as we sit here... if i don't get my copy in the next few days (my order and a UK sub were on the same ticket, so you'd assume they'd get mailed at the same general time and the other half of the equation got his a couple days ago) then we'll know something went awry... if it does, in fact, work, i'll let the board know so you can just get a sub at MOUK...

Slightly off topic, but I received a letter from GW MOUK yesterday about the journal.
It was due to be re-released this month, 1 month 40k, next month WFB. Well, they've cancelled that idea, so they were letting all journal subscribers know, and giving them a refund on the remainder of their sub, and a 3 month sub to WD.
Great, especially as I changed my sub to a BBMag sub 2-3 months ago. So not only do I get 3 free WD's, and continue my BBMag sub, but I get a 6 month refund on my non-exsistant Journal sub
Sometimes you have to love their effiency.

I would like to know how the subs people on this side of the pond work out... If they do ok, I will call the UK and set one up... or can it be done on the GWUK website?
Well, I picked up Mag #5... the wife actually went and bought it for me... I knew I married her for a reason
Still would like a subscription though... funny how in the mag on page 19 it says that they are available, just call.

You could try ordering from the website, don't know how well it would work, couldn't do it when I got my sub, had to do it by phone. I got mine for GBP20.00 but heard different numbers from different people who got subs (or at least asked about them) from UKMO. It would be interesting to know how much others over on this side of the pond paid for their UKMO sub.

Darkson,
I too just received that letter. My sub was from the first series of BB Mags - I then switched to the Journal. I then got a letter saying my Journal sub finished. I have recently taken out a new BB Mag sub - so who knows which Mag I will get, how many issues etc etc.
Phil - What's the odds on your mag turning up?
A. 10-1
B. 5-1
C. Evens
D. Course it will turn up!
