To be honest Darren is a top figure painter and these are one of the best teams i have ever seen (and beaten )

Mean looking team, good luck. Personally have had no joy with Chaos and have a GW team I need to offload at some point lol

Cheers for the support chaps. I think Darren, I'm going to compile the 'Pink Compendium' this afternoon - the full collection of 'stories' and painting articles. Be quite nice as people can see some bigger pics too...

gorgeous paint job.. not sure about how obvious the weapon snip is on the mino, but the flesh and black blending is gorgeous and the mix of minis works pretty well too..

It was a very tricky job! I can't even remember what weapon he had now. The tough bit with the mino was that his shoulder and upper arm were moulded to the body, so there was very little that could be done without carving him up completely. He works quite well though as there is lots of gore on his spiked elbow, so it looks like he's been repeatedly elbowing someone in the face!

I was looking at ebay earlier for some pro painted teams, 300 quid for pretty basic painted figs?! its a travesty if yours don't go for more than that they are absolutely gorgeous and put me to shame! (and I was a 3 time golden daemon finalist ) amazing work and conversions there matey!

Stunning looking team, come on Rodders needs another team of Darren's to beat ....

Yeah, just had a look at the close ups on e-bay and the obvious weapon snips on the models, in particular the beastmen and Minotaur stand out. Guess it is the perfectionist in me that hates to see an astounding paintjob and inspired, unique colour scheme married to less than perfect conversions.

Black is always a very tricky colour to highlight, it needs to be subtle enough to still look black but strong enough to not hide details. The beastmen are by far my favourites as their fur and skin work so well together.
