Well Painted Slanneshi Chaos Team up on Ebay

Post by Asariel »

I was hoping to get back into playing since I found these guys again, but I just haven't had the time the last few years and that looks set to continue. So My beloved Slaaneshi team gets added into the pre-christmas clearout!

This is one of my favorite chaos teams. Sorry you will have to part with it. Wish I had the money for it!

Best of luck. Whoever ends up with this will be a lucky individual, indeed. :orc:

Awesome team man, I am shocked though that there are still Blood Bowl players in Edinburgh that I have managed not to bang into over the years. Madness. Good luck selling the team man.

Yeah JR, city this size you keep bumping into folks all over the place! Was thinking of going back to ELG earlier this year, but BB got squeezed out with the rest of life (as did a few other things!). Still, if I ever do get time again I do love to paint, first on my table will be a bespoke, full NMM BB team! (Never was fully happy with this one when I had to half-rush it to finish for Alba). I still have Thumper... couldn't part with him. ;D

In any case one less thing to cart around from move to move, and a (slightly) shinier pair of earnings for the other half come Christmas. jajaja ;)

Yup, me too. Not been to ELG in ages. Though if you fancy a game of BB on the weekends there's Games Hub now which is 10am-10pm 7 days a week. Don't think they have a BB board but plenty space and a gaming crowd. :)

ps/ Check out the Kickstarter for shiny Chaos Team from Willy Miniatures, go on you know you want to. :)

Games hub is about 2 minutes walk from me, haven't stuck my head in yet though. Saw a few folks painting away the last time I went past. I'm sure if I hooked up with my board gaming crowd I'd have paid a visit and then some. jaja

And you had to tempt me.... ;)

that is a really cool looking team. If I didn't have a team I would be throwing a bid in

20 pounds for shipping? Bit pricey to ship across the pond.

Depends on the packing material I guess or if it comes in a case. Though having checked the Royal Mail Website and guessing that the weight is about 500 grams with all that metal and that it should be insured for at least £100 you get £15.73 and £15.98 for postage alone, packing materials on top of that and it looks about right to me.

Edit: Includes case and dice which will add to the weight but ensure the models are safe.

Yeah, surprised me a bit too when I went on the RM website, posted stuff away to outside the EU before, but never anything even vaguely heavy/bulky.

It weights about 1.3kg without any packaging according to my scales. (so £5.54 + 10*£1.22, maybe 11*£1.22), steel plate in the carry case adding the majority of that, plus whatever a box costs from the post office. =/

Maybe should put a note or such on the auction so it doesn't seem like it's looking to make money off postage.

I've sold a bunch of stuff on Ebay over the past year so I know the Royal Mail prices can be quite steep when it comes to heavier items, even if they aren't too bulky. It's surprising to most folks how expensive postage and packaging is.

Fingers crossed someone treats themselves and bids higher. I expect there to be some Bid sniper bids at the last minute. A well painted team with case and dice for less than a hundred bucks is a bargain.

Cheers, yeah there was a dash at the end. I put the BiN at £95 initially (forgetting it disappears when a bid is made) and they went for £97 so have to be happy with that! Hopefully they seem some action in the pitch in Sweden, it was a shame to have them sitting in a cupboard of mine gathering dust for years! :)
