Ok, they were only 2 offers so far, and I had to reject them.

I would be interested of how much you experienced guys will set the value of the teams. Even if you are not interested in buying them. Just for me to get a feeling if im not expecting too much :)

I'd argue that none of them are "very well painted" - some, like the ogre team, would need stripping and repainting.
Thus, I wouldn't expect to pay more than the GW price of the figures, if not a little cheaper.

Based on the pictures, I'd have to agree with Darkson. My eyebrows certainly went all Roger Moore when I compared what I was seeing to the caption....

Sad to confirm the painting devalues them. Didn't want to say anything previously as I wasn't interested in buying, but seeing as you've asked for feedback the paint jobs are all poor, not even tabletop quality for me. I'd only buy them to be stripped and repainted, so I'd actually sell for less than eBay prices if it where me.

Echoing what has already been said. I looked at a few of the teams, but wasn't interested in adding to my "strip and repaint" backlog.

It can be hard to evaluate your own work. I was struggling to sell some of my early painted minis on ebay a while back. I found that rating sites like cool mini or not were helpful in learning how others viewed my work.

I thought of my work as a 8... perhaps a 9... 8) It was hard to see the scores ranging from 2 - 6, but it was helpful to get that feedback (harsh at it was to hear). :blue:

After spending long periods of time painting we get attached to the minis. Taking the emotion out can be hard. I decided that I wanted to hang on to some of the minis because I didn't want to sell them at a deep discount only to have the paint stripped off of them. Others I sold (for less than the cost of the minis new). Remember, unless it is out of print, people can buy then new from a "reliable source" with a credit card. They are taking a chance going with a non store, and most people either expect a discount to do that.

Guessing this wasn't feedback he/they wanted to hear.

Got the halfling in the mail today. They were cheap and the posting/handling was fast.

Well the feedback of the painting quality sure not was the one I hoped for, but at least it makes me reconsider my expected earning for the teams :)

Im still the opinion that they are well painted, but that may be not enough for the "professional players" out there. So thats my humble opinion.

Im still waiting for fair offers for the teams from players who want to use them as they are.

Thx for the postive feedback, lard!
