Looking to round out a newly acquired Human team (the newest GW variety that is currently for sale on their website). Needing the old Human Referee to act as Turn Counter, and the Newest Griff to act as... Griff!

Also, I'm trying to think of what Ogre model would fit in with the team style. I'm not sold on the new GW Ogres as I don't think they fit the team that well and I prefer figures that you can fit on a 30mm base as Big Guys, which I know the GW ones are too big. Same problem with the Heresy ones, so the only thing I'm thinking is one of the second edition Ogres. Not perfect scale or style wise, but great figures anyway and I can't thin k of much better!

Here are the 2nd ed guys.
I actually think the new Ogres do fit the Human team. Size could be an issue but they are amoung my favourite GW models. Using the spiked shoulder pads make make them fit in better?

I have a couple assembled GW plastic bulls, which do fit on 25mm bases.

Personally, I find that the newest GW ogres fit the style of the latest human team well.

I think all the newest GW ogres need to fit in with the Human team is a change in shoulderpads. Make them some nice rounded pads with spikes, and they're perfect.

Were you not they type to get a lot of star players for your teams, I'd say the newest Zug (if you put him on one of the 30mm bases) would work nicely too. Well, if you file the eagle off his gut plate and file/fill in the rough edges on his shoulderpads.
