This guy must be insane. 72 POUNDS for a Norse team (and some halflings) that you can order from GW??!!?? I really doubt the paintjob would make it worth anything near that much. Bizarre!

Might be a ringer and no halflings they went in another sale.

£72 for a painted team and the bases aren't even done... Excellent... Maybe I should sell one of my teams on Ebay too...
Just hope the guy also pays for his bid, as the buyer has to pay Ebay percentages from that £72 anywho.

If someone can get that much for a 3ed team that is still available from GW, I should start selling all my teams, I'd make a fortune (2.5 CN$ = aprox. 1 GBP).

The guy I pay to paint my miniatures only charges £1, but he could easily charge £2 per figure.
Based on that, I might expect to pay £30 up to £42 for a painted BB team of 12 minis from the boxed set. How anyone values those at £72 I don't know.
That is £4.50 per figure just for the paint job, or £6 per figure overall. It is insane.

Actually gentlemen what's insane is that a 2nd person was willing to pay 70 BPS. Remember it takes two to inflate the bidding on Ebay. One man with too much money cannot run an auction up by himself.

Good to see somebody nailed this bastard! Good! Don't need any of this going on at all. Bad enough as it is trying to get stuff!
